Spartacus – Le Gladiateur

Submitted by skykid on Saturday, 10 February 2007Comments

There is a new musicale out there – or it might not be new, but I just discovered it this morning. It is called Spartacus -- Le Gladiateur, and trough I wasn’t able to find much information about it – I saw that there is a DVD release available. I am posting a short video clip from the musicale I found at You Tube. The choreography looks really amazing and the voice of the boy who sings is truly angelic – but sees it for yourself:

Thanks to joe-topc -- the text of the song in English :

FATHER WHERE ARE YOU ?

I’m strong
It’s far
When there remains just a single breath
You give it to another
Father where are you ?
Lost…
The earth is turning red & my lips can still move
You said:”be strong”
You said:”I hope.”
Unknown…
Father where are you ?
Father would you have lost me ?
In this life of chains & wounds of suffering and injury.
You said : ” be tough”
You said: ” be proud.”
Where are you ?
I…have lost hope.
I won’t last…much longer
When there remains…just a single breath… you give it…
END

  • BigDog
    I have it on DVD
  • The name of the young actor is SEBASTIEN DUBOIS - with a voice and talent like that he should havea show on his own.
  • michealangelo
Althought its not in english I understand whats the boys needs of love. The music is melancholist rythm which drive my hearts listen to him.

very talented boy, he can do both trebele sing & theater acting,
