I am not a big fan of TV series -- and mostly watch them when I don`t feel like watching an entire movie and I have some time to waste. However after seeing the trailer of the new Spanish production Águila roja I must say that I am quite excited to find out more about this production . The translation in English is The Red Eagle and the the series are going to be  respect similar to Zoro`s ones. They will tell the story of an ordinary man whose life changes after a personal tragedy. Since then,  he will seek revenge for those responsible for his misfortune.

The cast seems  quite impressive as David Janer ,Francis Lawrence , Hernan Mejia and Inma Cuesta will be staring in this production.  Of course we can`t miss Guillermo Campra who gained popularity after the success of Carlitos y el campo de los sueños  ( which I am going to review soon in this blog ). It is a promising title and as I read elsewhere special attention has been given to a meticulous reproduction of the costumes and atmosphere of the time .Check out the trailer below :
