Change
These days I saw what the word ” change” really means …
It has been a rather stressful experience to me -- even know I agree with the opinion of few of my friends I have been chatting with that change is natural and unavoidable . And when talking about change in people “everyone changes differently , but the inevitable is that changes are part of every one’s life”. Some people say that change is a good thing -- people evolve both physically and mentally ( most coming of age films focus on those ” changes ” too ) -- but is it always the case ?
Can sometimes change be for worse ?
I stumbled upon two good quotes -- the first one :
“All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.” Anatole France
Trough many cool and interesting things are happening everyday , for some reason I tend to appreciate better the things that have passed -- a love or a friendship that is no more -- but the memory of it leaves on. Another aspect of the change as a phenomen is the hope one could have about the feature -- change is often anticipated , but one hopes that he could manage the way it is going to happen and the result it is going to evoke. Yet one of my favorite films ” Mirage ” starts with the following quote from the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche :
” Hope in reality is the worst of all evils, because it prolongs the torments of man “
Well in any case if you have read until now -- I have to treat you with something “change” related -- and so it is -- the famous song of Scorpions ” Winds of change “ :
