anangel

I do not remember where I stumbled upon this image – but it became a favorite of mine. There is something special about it – the boy seems to be with an angelic and devilish spirit at the same time ( devilish because of the fire surrounding him).

May be that is the idea behind the photograph to show how the evil surrounding the innocence of youth . Look at his expression – it is calm like he is thinking of something – may be trying to find an answer for himself on which side he can stand.

Anyway I couldn`t resist in sharing this picture with you – if you know the source by any chance please let me know.

Thanks for the information. If that is the case that rock band must have been really cool or had someone really professional working for them .

This album cover is from a 1995 album of one of my favorite bands of all time, Marillion. The album is called “Afraid of Sunlight”. More can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afraid_of_Sunlight

It is an especially moving picture.

In response to the other comment, the band is still around, touring, and have recently released a new album, “Happiness is the Road”. Their music is very kewl, definitely rock, definitely ambitious, and definitely worth a listen.

    Hello Aquaria,

I like the music of Marillion myself – my favorite song being probably their famous Kayleigh – we have been singing that with my cousin a lot during last summer. The clip of the song is great too.
Thank you for letting us all know the source of the image. I hope that more people will discover the music of Marillion thanks to you.

    Yours,
