I would like to show you two great sites I have been following lately. Lifehacker and MakeUseOf. Lifehacker is full of interesting articles about technology and it also has some great posts about everyday life issues and idea. For example some of the recent articles there which I have starred at my Google reader are:

Use Google Calendar to schedule relaxation(link)

LH Top 10: USB thumb drive tricks (link)

Make an emergency romance kit (link)

Ask the Readers: Best Symbian apps?(link)

Get the best shave possible(link)

You got the idea. The only thing that bothers me is that you have to be registered in order to leave your own comments there – but I have done it and I guess many will as the community around f and the discussions are great – informative and useful.

MakeUseOf is the place where I have found the most usefull sites and services . The site has well writen About page ( link ) in which if I may quote is written :

As about makeuseof.com, it’s very different from most of the other tech blogs. It’s unique and original in what it reviewes and how it does it. On makeuseof we don’t write about any new web applications that comes around but only about ones that we find useful or at least entertaining. It may be a subjective juddgement but that’s how it is. We also try to keep it simple and all accessible, so that even newbies who never used such sites like digg and delicios or ones who think AJAX is famous washing powder brand can easily find their way around

Period

I have to say that the authors have achived success , as the site is becoming more and more popular and the content is presented in quite a unique way. Here are some of my favourite posts from MakeUseOf:

Top 20 WordPress Plugins for Power Users (link)

Optimizing Firefox (Best Picks: Shortcuts, Speedups, Extensions) ( link)

makeuseof Extra #43 (Web Goodies and Tips) (link)

Best Articles (Top 10’s & Lists) ( link)

I hope that you would enjoy the blogs I have selected and will become a regular reader there – it is totaly worth it.
