Grasshopper Island

There are films you just don´t know anything about when you start watching them. I´ve always found that a part of the excitement in the collecting of films from for example amazon.com or other independent film places on the net. However, others want to know as much as possible before even considering switching on the DVD-player. With the film “Grasshopper Island” I only knew it was a film about three boys about 10-13 years old or something and that most of the story was about the adventures of the boys spending one summer in some deserted tropical island. So, then I finally got the film and watched it right away even though I was a bit tired from work. I didn´t fall asleep. This was actually a very nice coming of age- film with a better photo then I expected and with a quite fun story. So even if the quality of the story and the filming doesn´t reach the heights of the classic coming of age films, it´s a film I really can recommend!
