Antonio has released one album, and according to his official web page a second one is to be expected in the summer of 2007.
I am into treble music – I always have been since my teenage years. Discovering new singers and songs is an adventure of its own . Born on 2nd of January 1995 at Palma del Río (Córdoba)one Spanish boy -Antonio Jose became one of my all time favorite singers s. I know Spanish a little and like to have my vacations in that country – may be that is why I can easily relate to the music of Antonio. He sings like a real professional – I was just listening to ” Mi Barrio ” – a song full of energy and guitars – so typical for the Spanish culture. His talents was recognized at the EuroJunior Contest where he represented Spain with his song “Te traigo Flores” and took the second place .
Sadly there is not much information in English available for this signer – but judging from the amount of comments in Spanish blog posts about him he is well known in his own country. His album Te traigo flores was released in 2005 and in it there are 13 songs each of which is worth hearing ( and loving I assure you)
“I bring flowers to You” is a song that this Andalusian youngster dedicated to his passed away grandmother. You can read more about Antonio Jose here ( in Spanish). Also in case you do not know he has a special someone to support him – young turtle named Manolita.
Also the dancers that appear in his video clip and on the live performances of Te Traigo Flores really do a great job !

Yes, Antonio Jose won the champion in Spanish and stood for his country to attend JESC 2005. He got a very good place, the 2nd. The Spanish participants in JESC seems to be always very outstanding. Before Antonio Jose is Maria Isabel in 2004 and Sergio(now the member of 3+2) in 2003, they both got very good place in their year. Sergio got 2nd and Maria Isabel, a 10 y/o little girl, gained the best place in 2004! She was quite exceptional and the performance was devastating. She also has released CD, about two, I think.
Just got the whole CD of Antonio Jose and this morning on the beach I`ve heard ” Digale ” – one of the two bonus tracks for a very first time- such a great ballad – it almost brought tears in my eyes .
I still need to find the songs of Maria Isabel and Sergio , trough I doubt that they would be any better than the music which Antonio makes- will find out soon I hope…
If you want I can send you some music of Maria Isabel or Sergio. Both of them are realy good.

imo; I consider Te Traigo Flores very closed to original Andarlusian (Spain) which has influence of european semitic, thus is make the music was very unique..
It’s interesing about the song’s origin. This kind of music seems to be quite familiar and popular nowadays.
I’m Spanish and I love JESC,and Spanish kids are always the best. If you are interested, go to http://www.danifernandez.es , Dani Fernandez will represent Spain at JESC 2006 in Boucharest. I think he will win! His song is “Te doy mi voz”, it is so beautiful! And he sing very very good!

Just watched the video clip of “Te doy mi voz” – the song is pretty nice – I guess Dani just needs to work a bit on his scene performance – but then I am comparing with the one of Antonio Jose . Dani sings one other song ” Adoro ” which I like more than “Te doy mi voz”.- still go Dani – I wish him all the luck he can get!

I have no doubts that Antonio Jose has many fans from all over the world . It is just that there is not really an place where we the fans can keep in touch – in English or something – even trough on the official web page now there is a small English section.
Btw…I am developing a habit of listening to his album almost every morning too – and yea his songs are really amazing !

I wish I knew the answer to this questions . There are rumors but I don`t know what to believe . What I know is that he has several appearances on Spanish TV and apparently is still singing …and he was working on a second album – but when it will be released is a mastery
