A Scholarship for TheFilmSchool Prodigy Camp for Talented Teens United States theskykid.com teenagers Stars2Come.com rivenmaster.com In the not so distant past, I was able to attend high school in the United States thanks to the scholarship provided by the school trustees of my school district. The time I spent in the multicultural environment there significantly affected my personal development. Ever since, I have been looking for ways of giving back – a chance and an opportunity as was once given to me.

Thanks to the popularity of theskykid.com and its well earned status as a media that focuses on youthful talents, we have been asked to participate in a wonderful initiative – the prestigious THEFILMSCHOOL PRODIGY CAMP this summer (July 26-August 1st) on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest. Limited to 20 of the world’s most promising young artists (ages 12-18), THE PRODIGY CAMP provides a life-changing experience and the highest level of instruction for young artists/storytellers of all kinds.

If you would like to be considered for this prize, please go to the official site of the Prodigy Camp, fill out an application by April 1st, 2011 and reference one of our sites (theskykid.com, rivenmaster.com and stars2come.com) as a substitution for the application fee.

This opportunity is open to  self-motivated, responsible learners from all backgrounds. If you are aged between twelve and eighteen and have an interest in storytelling and film making, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop  your skills while having fun and being taught by top flight award-winning filmmakers, including Oscar and Emmy winners.

Good luck !

Thank you for the insights . I admit that I am amongst those who think highly of the independent film style -- largely because the commercial movie stile fails to produce a quality coming of age films or worsens an original as I think was the case with the American version of Let me in.  I have never been to a movie camp and found your comment quite intriguing .
