[...] My photos : Fire and Fireworks Submitted by skykid on February 1, 2010 – 1:17 pmView commentsComments I felt like doing another post featuring few photos taken by me. I don’t know if its a good idea – but since the photos in my last article from the series My photos : Tenerife focused on one destination or topic, I decided to do a little experiment and publish some photos that have one thing is common: fire and fireworks. The best practice when posting photos online is to pass them through a program such a Photoshop or PhotoImpact. This time, however, I decided to publish the photos as they were taken. The most recent photo from the set below was taken about a week ago – the rest are from a camping trip few years ago. As always, comments are appreciated. And, yes, you can see the very first post of the MyPhotos series here. [...]

Thanks for your kind comments. I have loads of photos that I can post. I also frame them and sell them at art shows in LA. I'll be posting some tomorrow on my blog so keep checking it.
I think your blog is so awesome! My favourite part is the Billy section.
I wish I was as good at web page design as you are!
Thanks

Hello Rain,

Your are lucky because I have a whole bunch of those get away shots and would definitely include some in my next post with photos I took. Thank you for commenting as I was waiting to see if there is any interest towards them before deciding on whenever I should get a new photo post or not. Speaking of that pathway behind it its the perfect beach , with no buildings around and clear transparent water - its about 5 km long and its quite calm. Its more or less a naturalist beach - trough there are no requirements or restrictions . My favorite activity there is playing with my kite ...[ I have a sports one ]

Thank you for the comment Mikael. I am glad you like the shots . After London I may upload a new compilation [14 news one probably]. Having people comment on them is always very motivating. Now I know you are into photography yourself...care to share few shots of yours ?

Hey thanks for sharing your pictures with us! These are really great and I hope we can see some more!! I am actually always looking for those "get away" kind of pictures for my desktop and screen saver so I actually set my desktop to skynetkid10, so when I'm really busy and need a second to collect my thoughts I see myself walking down that pathway. That is really perfect and I think after I post this I might take a quick snooze by the water. :)

Wow! Amazing pictures... they're all great but one of the pictures that really got stuck in my head was the 11th picture. It gives me a somewhat calming and "mystic" feeling...

Thanks a lot for sharing these pictures!

I rest my case. Does this guy have the eye for when to click the shutter or what?

Nicely done, all! Thanks for sharing. One small complaint. Too few!
