I hoped I will be be able to attend the concerts in France…sadly was not able to. Would be glad to publish reportage from tour if someone is to write one. Other than that I am keeping up with the official site. Thank you for the update Kabard.

Last thing I heard of the band were that they are recording the soundtrack to a new Russian film. Saw some production photos and the film looked quite promising .

In group there was a new soloist – Daniels of 9 years. The group has successfully acted with concerts in France. There was a photo and video data.

Thanks for this very well-written introduction post about these guys ! I remember seeing them in another forum, but that has been some time ago I guess. And seeing the newer videos I have no doubt that they developed a lot. I will now again start to keep up with the latest information about them, and seeing some of the vids you linked here. They sound real unique, and I think that is not only because I'm a german and do not really understand their language ! A nice and ambitioned project. Naturally, good luck for the future ! For those of you who don`t know Russian the vocalist announced a new song that they have created quite recently. As you can see from the clip the sound is hard rock unlike the clips I have used in my post. It made me remember the concerts I was going to before – wild and full of energy – I know that I will be just next to stage if I had the chance to attend a concert of Robinzon ( I never had a long hair – you know that metal style ). The second clips is a song by Alesha which is more poetic and would appeal to the people who appreciate the pure treble sound.

Yes I know that you are very selective and can provide a constructive criticism on any theme which is why I value your opinion .

As the barriers between our countries fall away to nothing as it should have been all along, it is the music and energy of youth that will really tie our worlds together. This group, Robinzon, has the talent and natural charisma to bring it to the world in a big way. Their wide eclectic collection of songs will ensure that young and old alike will delight in their concerts and CD's.

I look forward to hearing these ambassadors of musical happiness personally when they tour the U.S. and I am certain that will occur. Not because America is crazy over boy-bands even though they are, and not because the young men have the look, the stage presence and the talent, even though they do, but because their drive, exceptional voices and songwriting demand to be heard throughout the world. They're that good.

Skykid, you know that I am very selective about my endorsements but every one of them have gone on to international greatness. I have no hesitation in saying it about this group. They are all stars and true professionals whose dedication and hard work towards their craft is obvious every time they take the stage and their destiny, knows no boundaries.

A really nice find Skykid. I know I can count on you to bring us the stars and those who will be.

I am very pleased to see this article on this site. Finally people from outside Russia seem to have set eyes on this fantastic band with eventful history and traditions.

I've known them for quite some time now because their singers have participated in Junior Eurovision Song Contest more than once and this event I follow every single year. They are all seriously dedicated to music and seem to really love making it. The numerous achievements such as awards, first places, participation in prestigious international festivals, etc. are all perfect evidence for the talent behind those youngsters.

Robinzon is a bit atypical group.
They approach many music styles:
– pop,
– classic,
– rock,
– vocal….
For example the young Lesha (who will be 12 years old at the end of the month*) has just win two competitions in classical piano (he played Beethoven's variations on the waltz of Diabelli).
He sang for Easter (yesterday), a Russian version of Ave Maria (video on YouTube and on the planet-robinzon site).
And at present, he repeats with his group some songs of… Metallica!
Their musical training is therefore very complete and non-exclusive.

This might not be exactly my type of music but i do find them to be very good and it is very noticeable that they have been around for quite some time now. At least it looks to me that they have some kind of routine of doing this, managers, trainers etc that knows exactly what they are doing.

As the other people here i have not heard about them at all earlier, but i do hope that they will continue and get even better.

A personal and exclusive interview with Robinzon for the SkyKid.com is the next thing planned. ( I am working on my Russian for that and yet another interview which for now is kept as a surprise ) . What set them apart from many performers is the live music – I think that all young singers should try playing an instrument and / or singing with a band. In any case when I started writing the article about Robinzon – I only knew so much – they were recommended to me by a close friend. Ever since I started researching in details for the article I got addicted to their music – like in that first song Wave …I lost track of the times I have watched the clip today…many many times.

As usual you have introduced me to yet another marvelous group! I love the language yet do not understand a word! I think that the guitarist is fantastic and they are all great showman in their performances. The young lead singer is quite good. I believe that with a little more practice and vocal training he will be very good! The slower ballad was my favorite of the ones you posted but I liked the faster pop song as well! Great article and I look forward to your next personal interview should that be published!

Interesting sounding group. The composition of the group and how they replace members when they get too old remind me of Menudo.

Marvellous group…. I had never heard of them until this moment, and am glad I did! It's very rare to hear a group with such control and professionalism. The audio mix is clean and well balanced, so whoever works their board know his stuff. Even though I don't understand Russian, I still see them as being very talented and well worth listening to.

That's what I like about Skykid, there's music here from all over the world!
